My Scottie Boy!

Scottie is growing and progressing like crazy!
On July 18th (Barely 9 months) he took his first step!
By the end of July he could take a couple steps AND learned to CLAP
On Aug. 6 Scott took 7 steps
Scott drives around cars making car noises! He is such a boy.
He can walk all around now. It's crazy!

Brady set up pillows to make Scott comfy!
A couple weeks ago we were at Old Spaghetti Factory and Scott just randomly hit his tooth on the table.. chipped it! :(
 Scottie and his girlfriend Lexi!
 with Daddy
Scott was going crazy one day and I turn around and he just chilled out on this pillow! Super funny!
"Look Mom! No Hands!"

Marshall...

Marshall is as funny as ever! I wish I wrote down everything that he has said lately but here are a few:
"wait a minute.. I have a great idea!"
"I sure gotta go"
"My backpack is bothering me"
"I'm soking mad/happy" (copying "I'm so freaken mad/happy".. oops)
When the construction is really loud at our apartment he says, "Mom they are doing it again! Lets get outta her!"

I gave Marshall my old camera and he loves taking pictures of everything! He is actually pretty good at it

A Get Well Card we made for Great Grandma Marshall

 "What up Thug!"

 "RAAAARRRRRR!!"
Marshall fell asleep like this. You can only see a foot and the tip of his head!
He loves his ABC's and playing this matching game! He is really good at
Grandma Marshall's birthday present! If you can't tell.. its a bird!
Marshall got $5 from Great Grandpa for learning the first Article of Faith. This is what he bought with some of the money! A dinosaur and a lion!
He held on so tight to that bag!
 With friends!

Marshall put his Spiderman and George in time out!
 saaaweeeet!
 Love Aunt Kimmy
When he was coloring this picture he yelled "The Tacular Spiderman"
Taking pictures with my phone! He got caught!
Volcano Activity: we watched about volcano's on the internet. Then we made one with baking soda and vinegar. He was a little nervous so he had to sit on the other side! We also drew pictures of our experiment!
Dug this cute picture up from last May! What a cute kid!
I looked over and Marshall was playing the Minute to Win It game at the Block Party. And doing a good job!
Marshall found a huge doll at Great Grandma's. He laid her down and put a sheet on her. Then he turned on the radio for her. It was pretty funny!

Day 1: On the road to Las Vegas!

Monday morning we packed up and headed out to Las Vegas! It took a little longer then we wanted because we had to deal with the jackhammering on our walls and were trying to call people to figure what was going on.. anyway that is a whole different story!

We finally got out of there and then after a while of Marshall being crazy and awful, he was quiet!! Finally!

We got to the Treasure Island Resort in Las Vegas at night! We decided to stop half way because it would make the trip easier and the rooms were so so cheap!

Here is Marshall opening the room! The hotel was so nice!

The view from our hotel room! We could see the pirate ship and the fireworks from our room! Marshall LOVED that! He loves Pirate Ships AND Fireworks lol

Brady and Marshall with the Pirate Ship. We just barely missed the show!

Marshall got a whole queen size bed to himself!

He threw his underwear and this is how it landed haha

His other bed! He is pretending he is a sleep because Brady told him that was his bed!

So fun! That was an interesting experience to be in Vegas but a short good time with the family! It was Brady's first time there too! He definitely wants to go back but without the kids haha

Day 2: Swimming at Treasure Island, Visiting Riverside, and arriving in Anaheim

On Tuesday morning.. in August.. in Vegas there is nothing else to do but SWIM! So we did! It was a nice relaxing thing to do before driving to CA!

We met a wonderful little family. The wife was from Roseville and the Husband from England. They had a son Scott's age and another one on the way! We talked to them the whole time!

On the way to Anaheim we went over to Riverside for a bit to show Brady were I grew up! This is the July house! The houses and the neighborhood looks great! They've really kept it up! I showed Brady were my bus stop was, the house the car drove into, the drug dealer house and the super busy street we had to cross to get to the Rupps!
We went and looked at the May house that we only lived in for a few months too. When we got there Marshall says, totally serious, "This isn't Disneyland!" He was so mad! It was hilarious!

This is the pool where a fully dressed lady jumped in to save me when I don't think I needed saving!
I had a few birthday parties here!
Oh, Memories!

My elementary School!

Beautiful California Skies!

When we got to the house we were going to be staying at in Anaheim I started going crazy looking around. It was straight from the 70's and just awesome! I mean furniture that would totally be used today! Well some of it! Just awesome!

We got to stay in this house for free which was so nice! Our friend Chelsea's Grandpa started Sunsplash/Golfland in Roseville and 4 other locations. One of them is in Anaheim. He bought this house when they opened and its still used by workers and family! Awesome for us!

There were a lot of weird, not baby proof, things in the house, so most of the time we were there I had a movie on for Scott! He is so into the Preschool Prep Series!

Marshall helped make him stay put too!
