Recent Crafts

This is just a fun cuff bracelet I made. I wasn't going to put it on here because I was going to make one for Kim and Mindi for Christmas, but I think we might just do a craft day and make our own!

Back to my High School weight!!

Well.. I have tried running, Beach Body's Slim in 6, counting calories but I never can stay with anything. I've done Weight Watchers before and lost 7 pounds, so I decided to go back on it. I also decided to start and finish the work out program INSANITY! If you don't know what that is I will tell you in one word.. insane! It is super hard! I hate it but LOVE it at the same time! ha ha! I have been doing it pretty hard core except for a couple breaks here and there for vacations, holidays and getting sick. I am over half way through. Through INSANITY and Weight Watchers I have lost over 15 pounds!!! and I'm still going! So yes.. I am back to my high school weight and actually less right now. Anyway.. just a really great accomplishment for me!

Marshall already LOVES Baby Betty!

So, when we were in Idaho we saw our new niece Betty's baby announcement and Marshall saw it, laid his face on it and said "ahhh". It was so funny. So we tried to get him to do it again in the video. He also will kiss her picture but he wouldn't do it for the camera.

Our Halloween Dinner

Sunday, Halloween, we had a huge dinner! It was so fun! I made some witches wands and nutter butter ghosts for the table!
I also made witches to put on the glasses!
Aaron made some yummy homemade root beer!
Brady made this Grave Yard 7 Layer Dip
Mckelle made these fried eyeballs (meatballs), Jamie made mummy toes and on request (from me) Chelsea brought Spinach/Articoke Dip from Costco! She also brought some salad.
Mckelle brought this fun plate. Yummy fruit and dip. She also made these really fun cinnamon and sugar crackers.
Jamie made this cordon bleu Mummy. I bought a jack-o-lantern pizza from Papa Murphy's. Oh my heck, EVERYTHING was SOOOO good!
At the kids table we did Ghost PB & J's and orange goldfish!
I've never seen Marshall sit that long.. eating! It was great.
Mckelle made some yummy pumpkin ice cream for dessert. I made these cookies (thank you Shauna) and this mint brownie Frankenstein!
In between dinner we made Ginger Bread Haunted Houses. That was super fun! I love ours. I think it is more of a Haunted castle, but even better ehh?

Everyones haunted houses. We had so much fun and we were so sick full when we were done and probably for a couple days later! Since everyone left their haunted houses at our house, me and Brady doorbell ditched them to their owners a couple days later ha ha! Thanks for coming everyone!

Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles! Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles! Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles! Heros in a half-shell.. TURTLE POWER!

This is Marshall playing with the boxes used to make his shell. He is in there somewhere!
For Halloween Brady and Marshall were Ninja Turtles and I was April O'neil! It was a little hectic to make the costumes but fun!
Brady was Leonardo and Marshall was Michelangelo.
Marshall went trick or treating for the first time at the ward trunk or treat! He thought it was pretty cool. This is his first time eating a lollipop. We had to teach him how to eat it!

These are Marshall's "Sexy Turtle" pictures:

I could't get a very good picture of Marshall because he kept moving so I recorded him:

Monster Birthday Party

Marshall's friend, Vance, had his 1 year birthday party!! It was a monster themed party. Chelsea and Jordan (parents and our friends) made this fun thing to take pictures with. They also made super delicious food! It was really fun!
These were some of the cupcakes we made. If you can't tell they are monsters! Cute huh?!?

Trip to Idaho!

So we took Jared to school at BYU-Idaho a few weekends ago. It was good to see where Kim and Jared will live and to visit Rexburg. We were also able to visit Brady's family, The Cox's. They were kind enough to let us stay in their beautiful home and feed us yummy food!! ha ha!
We had to teach Marshall had to use head phones so we didn't have to listen to his dvd! We had a good time hanging with the family!

Another visit with Noah and Jenn!

Jenn and Noah came down to Provo to visit us! It was really good to see them! Marshall and Noah played really well together! This was just a really funny picture we took!

Marshall the Drummer

During Jared's little homecoming party, Tyson (Jared's best friend from Connecticut) taught Marshall some skills. After we recorded this he got on his own little drum set and was just going crazy! It was so funny!!

Naughty Marshall!

So all the cabinets and drawers in our kitchen have locks on them except this one. He can usually stick his little hands in the drawers and pull things out still, so I have to put anything dangerous in the very back. I put things that Marshall can play with in this one! But he has figured out how to sit in it! This is when I caught him! What a little stinker!!

Visit with Jenn and Noah!

Last week we were able to meet Jenn and little Noah in Salt Lake! It was fun to finally see each other! Marshall and Noah got along pretty good and it was so cute to here Noah say Marshall's name! We need to get together more often Jenn! Love ya!
Marshall and Noah at Baby Gap!

FUN at Jumpin' Jacks

Last week we had a Play Date at Jumpin' Jacks. Marshall loved it at first but I think he got really annoyed that he couldn't walk in the blow up things with out falling. He loved the slides though. By the time he got to the bottom he was already crying cause he wanted to go again. He would try to climb back up but that never worked. I had to take little breaks cause I was sweating so bad! It was way fun though! Next time we'll bring the Daddy's so we can trade off!
There were really really old coin operated cars and things. I think he liked those more then the blow up slides!
Here is Marshall looking for change in the old arcade machines.
Marshall couldn't sit on the horses without falling off so he had to sit in the middle!

Oh Marshall...

This is Marshall with Joe and Maria who are Grandma's cousins from Italy! We got to visit with them on Sunday night. They were also able to see Jared again on Tuesday. They remembered him from Italy. Jared took a picture with them.. but I don't have it so I'll have to post it later.
So Marshall has been teething really really bad! And now he has a new face. This video shows it pretty well! He also loves to yell!
Marshall loves me to comb his hair with a baby fork. Its so funny. We had already been doing it for so long that he isn't as interested in this movie but its still pretty funny.
Sorry this is so blurry but Marshall just wanted to say "HI"!

Elder Marshall is HOME!!

On Tuesday October 6th Jared came home! He had a long layover in Salt Lake so we could see him! We waited for a long long time! We started to just yell his name and tell him to hurry down!
Here is Marshall and Kimmy!
Marshall and Lauren Mcfadyen
Elder Marshall... FINALLY! He is saluting! Just like he did on the way into the mission at the MTC! Our same Jared is back :) YAY!
Jared, Katie, Kim, Marshall, Brady! Happy Family!
We are so excited for Jared to be home! He will be going to BYU-I Oct. 25 so hopefully we will be able to see him pretty often... I guess if Mom pays for his gas to come down!

Brady is 26!!

Brady's birthday was on the 6th of October! But we celebrated it Sunday, Wednesday AND Saturday! It was more of a Happy Birth-WEEK!
Here is Brady with the cake I made him on Sunday at Grandma and Grandpa Marshall's house. It was so windy outside that we couldn't light the candles so he just had to pretend!
Wednesday, his real birthday, we went to Tucano's to celebrate. It was delicious! I was so sick full! Brady got me to let him open his presents earlier in the day and he was pretty excited about the things he got!

Then on Saturday we did a bonfire at our friends Liz and Josh's house. Sorry I forgot to take pictures. It was really fun and there were a lot of people that we don't get to see all the time that came! Thanks everyone for coming to celebrate Brady's birthday with us! It was really fun! We roasted hot dogs, marshmallows, starbursts, and sugar and cinnamon apples!

Happy Birthday Brady! We love you!

So far this Fall..

Well.. Brady and I finally used our bikes! We rode up the Provo Canyon to Bridal Veil Falls. It was so nice. I love biking! But my hands and bum hurt! Maybe I'll get used to it.
Brady started a Flag Football team for BYU intramurals. It is very fun to watch when I can.. when Marshall isn't running onto the field.
I tried to trap him in this chair, but it only works for so long!

Brady started another semester of BYU - Recreation Management. He loves it and works very hard. He is very busy with all his classes and homework. Although it seems like this major is all fun and games, it is actually pretty challenging. He is learning so much for the future and loves MOST of his classes. He is also working at Noble Sports, a triathlon gear company, and will soon be planning events for them (which is really exciting)!!
