Gus Gus

Watch this movie at about 1:25. This was Marshall today! He was stacking up cd cases and holding them with his chin! Oh my heck I though of Gus Gus right away! You kind of had to be there but it was so funny!

So far this Fall..

Well.. Brady and I finally used our bikes! We rode up the Provo Canyon to Bridal Veil Falls. It was so nice. I love biking! But my hands and bum hurt! Maybe I'll get used to it.
Brady started a Flag Football team for BYU intramurals. It is very fun to watch when I can.. when Marshall isn't running onto the field.
I tried to trap him in this chair, but it only works for so long!

Brady started another semester of BYU - Recreation Management. He loves it and works very hard. He is very busy with all his classes and homework. Although it seems like this major is all fun and games, it is actually pretty challenging. He is learning so much for the future and loves MOST of his classes. He is also working at Noble Sports, a triathlon gear company, and will soon be planning events for them (which is really exciting)!!

Marshall Ray Bowden aka MR. B

Well, what can I say! He's a sweetheart! We love this guy to death! He makes us so happy! He just does the funniest things! He can walk now.. even though he walks like the little bunny on Robin Hood.. "Wait fo me"! He loves to copy anything you do so thats become really fun!

He LOVES his grandma!
And Grandma's glasses!

"Excuse Me"
"Aww nuts"
First Hair Cut!
Poopy high chair! Yeah it was disgusting.. mixed with graham crackers.
This is Marshall's friend Brigden. They think it is so funny to get up on the shoe rack. They are bitting buddies. They always bite each other. I wonder when they are going to remember that it hurts and stop doing it.
Aww Little Marshalina
Look at that smile
Good Doggy!

Summer Crafts!

So, I LOVE to do crafts! And I love looking at other peoples blogs for ideas and showing my crafts to people so I thought I would show a few that I have done this summer!

This is in our room above our desk/craft table!
Just sweet looking!
So, I felt like I needed to get more organized with dinner so I made a magnet menu board to put what we are having each day. It just makes it easier for when I go shopping. I know most people probably do something like this.. but I'm just getting it haha!
Marshall's room.. His curtains!
MR. B
So this pillow was such an awesome deal. Everything I do, I do for very little money or no money at all. I bought a $3 feather pillow at the DI, took off the cover, and sewed this $3.50 fabric around it! $6.50! Awesome!
This is a sign I will end up putting with a bunch of pictures on one of our big walls. I made it with the Sure Cuts A Lot and the cricut. THANKS to Mike and Brindy who gave me the wood and routed (sp?) it for me!

Brady the River Guide

Isn't this beautiful? This is the Provo River and where Brady worked most of the summer as a River Guide! Rough life ehh? Well it was work and he did have to work, but what a great place to do it!
Brady was able to take his family for FREE!! We took a couple trips down with some of the family. Sorry everyone wasn't able to go. This trip even Marshall and Corinne got to go!
He also was able to fly fish sometimes before or after work. This was his first fish he caught fly fishing! For fly fishing I guess its pretty big! He was pretty excited about it but I just wanted it out of my house! Gross!
This is the Chaco line he got from wearing his Chaco sandles everyday!

Marshall & Corinne

Well, it took a little time but Marshall and Corinne did become friends! They played a lot together. Marshall pushed her around in his walker.
She drove him around.
They took baths together!
Got into trouble together!
And just took a lot of cute pictures together!

Hanging out with Johnson's!

It's always fun to get together with the Johnson's. This is me (Katie), Marshall, Mom Connie, Mindi and Corinne, Stephanie and Micah, and Mom Amy! It was really fun to visit.
This was a little get together at the Johnson's house for Amy, my Mom and their other 2 companions from the mission! It was really fun to meet them.

Bowden Reunion 2010

This is most of the BOWDEN family!
This is what they usually look like!
Most of the Gary Bowden family! We missed Tyson and Lee & LeAnn and the boys!
Marshall with Grandma and Grandpa Bowden
So Brady and his Cousin Curt tied the "Hot Dog Eating Contest"! So gross! It was so funny though. Brady made sure to ask for the rules before they started because at about 4 seconds left he stuffed like 2 hot dog buns in his mouth (after drenching them with water) and as long as he swallowed them they counted. So he tied his cousin Curt.
For the Reunion we went down south to Ferron for the 24th. We went to Clearfield for the parade and activities. And I am not exactly sure where we went for the pool but Marshall LOVED it. He played with this little thing almost the whole time!

Marshall turns ONE!

We celebrated Marshall's First birthday the friday before at the Bear Lake house! He was so confused at what was going on when the WHOLE family was singing to him! It was pretty funny
This is the cake me and Mindi made for him. Its a Bear Lake Monster.

Marshall's birthday present!

Marshall joins the big boys!

We celebrated Marshall's actual birthday at the beach with a little sand cake! He just wanted to destroy it haha

BEAR LAKE 2010

Here are the twinners! Jeffrey and his mini me.
Marshall loved the swing!

Grandma even got him to go to sleep on it! Marshall loves his Grandma! She was so good with him and took such good care of him while she was here! Thanks MOM!

She even let him play in her sink!

Are you serious? Is it that interesting! This is how we found the boys a lot of the times at the house! Usually they all have their own though!

Grandpa is already teaching Marshall how to play sports. Starting with ping pong!
Marshall's first Quad ride

Corinne and Marshall were so cute! They had a rough start but started to play nice together by the end of the trip!
Would you want Her to cut Your hair?? Just kidding! She didn't have a bobby pin so she had to put her hair like this haha
