Marshall turns 2!!

Marshall turned 2 on July 21st! On the morning of his birthday he opened his presents from his Grandma and Grandpa Bowden and Conner!
He loves his Elmo book and cars! He plays with them all the time!
SO I didn't get very many good pictures of his party that night because I was so busy doing the party but it was a blast.
The theme was a "Go Diego Go" theme.
Here is a picture of his cupcakes!
and all the food! There are labels on some of them like worms, tiger tails, snake eggs, dried bat wings, jungle juice, etc.
I made little "rescue packs" for all the kids with some fun things in them. I also made some binoculars out of toilet paper rolls that the kids colored.
They took their rescue packs and binoculars out to the court yard for a Rescue Mission. They had to find a bunch of different animals and mark it off on their sheet. When they found all of them they got a prize. I think they really liked it!
Here is Marshall finding am elephant.
Inside I made an obstacle course that I didn't get good pictures of. First you had to go through a canyon with snakes which was just behind the couch with streamers hanging down and rubber snakes on the ground.
Then after crossing a bridge you had to go through a hollow log. Then came the water with hippos. They had to jump over their backs (that was the last picture). Last was a cave of bats which was basically a tall table covered with a sheet with paper bats hanging from the top.

It was fun! They were able to run through it during the whole party.
Brady was sweet enough to make balloon animals for the kids. They loved that!
Marshall was so funny when we sang Happy Birthday! He was so excited and he was trying not to smile!

He got really spoiled with toys from his friends! Here they are playing with all of his presents.
On Sunday, mostly since Kim and Dad couldn't be at his party, we had a family dinner and party. The funny thing was Marshall and Corinne were asleep during dinner! It was nice though! and delicious by the way: Olive Garden Stuffed Chicken Marsala!
Here he is again trying not to smile!

He got some good presents.. it looks like everyone liked them!
Party guests.. sweet baby Kaitlin!
Kimmy and Marshall! He loves his auntie Kimmy! He always sees girls and thinks they are her.. and then gets really sad when its not her!

He had a great birthday! I hope he remembers how fun it was! It was really fun planning it too!
