RMYL Scholarship Banquet 2010

Last night (04/06), we attended a banquet in the Hinckley Building at BYU where Brady received the Rulon Skinner Scholarship! It was really neat!

GO BRADY!!

Marshall was naughty most of the time but I saw Emily Johnson there (she was serving), a girl I used to work with at OSF and a guy from EFY. So random. No matter what, we always see people we know at BYU! I also got to meet and see Brady's teachers and listen to Brent Sheets speak. He is the Facility Director of the huge Kearns Recreation Center along with other things. It was good to hear from him! He was there to receive the Outstanding Professional Award. He has also won many other awards. Brady has visited there and talked with him before! It will be good to have such a great contact! YAY Brady! Good Job!

MARSHALL

This is Marshall's new face! Yeah.. I don't know..

Snaggle Tooth Marshall.. He actually got his 2ND tooth on April 5th. Guess where it is?? Same side as the first tooth but on the top! We'll post more pictures as soon as we can see it better!

So Marshall has taken over the living room! This is his wall!

He likes to pull his basket down so all his toys come out.

No Hand Tricks. The other day I went to check on him and he had figured out how to stuff the blanket under the bottle so he didn't have to hold on to it. In the picture it is falling a little but it was so funny!

Marshall can sit up pretty good now but for a while when he was learning he was taking some pretty good falls. Brady thought he needed this so he didn't get a concussion!

He has finally learned to clap with both hands open. He used to always have one hand closed and one hand opened.

TV time!

Marshall has already got a great TV face. We have movie that just has a bunch of songs like ABC's, BINGO, apples and bananas, etc. and he loves it!

This Easter we went to Boise and stayed with Jamie (Brady's sister), Matt and the boys! It was so fun and we had such a great time! Here are some pictures from the trip:

We went to a little Discovery Center. It was kind of like the Children's Museum we used to go to. Here are the boys in the Grocery Store.

Bath Time!

Bath time was so funny! This was Marshall's first time sitting in the bath tub. He usually sits in his own little plastic tub. Anyway.. he was weightless.. he kept floating down towards the boys. It was so funny and so weird. I think you had to be there though!

Easter Morning! Easter was great. Jamie was so sweet! She did baskets for everyone! AND Breakfast AND lunch AND dinner! I think I gained 5 pounds there!

DINNER! Yummy!! It was so delicious!

Hayden continually asked Brady to play the Frog game with him! Brady didn't fight it too much!

Brady had fun playing with the boys and I think they had fun with him as well!

We also did a lot of decorating and planning with Jamie. We painted her dining room a warm yellow which looks awesome and put up different things around her house! It looks great. It was so fun too!

Marshall's First Swing!

Marshall and I had some time in between appointments for apartments so we went to the park. It was really windy which meant Marshall couldn't breathe (because he keeps breathing in the air). This was Marshall first time on a swing!

He really liked it but I think was more interested in the kid next to him!

And whatever he was staring at in this picture.. creepy!

Crafts for Corrine.. and Marshall

For Corinne's Birthday I made her a "Flippin' Book" with pictures of Christ, the prophet, Joseph Smith, the family, etc. Whenever I make something for Corrine I usually just make it for Marshall as well! Except this dress! Marshall did get to try it on though! I needed his body to 'fit' it!
