Valentine's Day!

Here is Marshall making Valentine's for his Grandma's. He didn't really want to color but he liked putting stickers on them.
The Saturday before Valentine's Day we volunteered at Spanish Fork Nursing & Rehab Center. We made Valentines with the patients and put them on their doors. It was a great way to start out the day! Here is Marshall's Valentine for a lady named Debbie!
These are some of the ladies we sat with!
Brady had to be pretty creative to keep Marshall sitting there for that long!
That night we had our Valentine's Day dinner with 3 other couples! It was really fun to plan it. We had to be really creative because none of us have much money! Here is our table with appetizers. We had grandma's Red Pepper Relish on cream cheese with crackers, shrimp cocktail, and jalapeno artickoke dip with bread and crackers.
We started on the couch with our appetizers. We tried to do different courses to make the dinner longer.
Here is the delicious salad McKelle made. She made the poppyseed dressing and candied the nuts! YUM!
MAIN COURSE: I have always wanted to make Rouladen, so I did for this party and it turned out SOO good! Thanks Kathy! Then we had gourmet potatoes, seasoned vegetables, and Rhodes rolls. It was amazing!!
Here is a bad picture of our little pom pom balls!
I made a delicious double layered chocolate cake with chocolate frosting topped with chocolate covered strawberry's! YUM! It turned out so good!
I also made strawberry cupcakes with this yummy marshmallow frosting! Then of course some conversation heart cookies! The Party was so fun and I think everyone had a good time! The food was delicious! Thanks everyone for pitching in! We also played the "Honeymoon Game", which if you don't know what that is we can show you later! haha!
This English Triffle was actually made the next day, Sunday, for our Nursery Get Together, but I thought I would just throw it in! haha It was so delicious! I will definitely be making that again!
On Monday, actual Valentines Day, Marshall got a little Elmo! He loves it!
This is what Brady came home to on V-Day! We exchanged presents and went out to dinner with Marshall! He was surprisingly good! We had a wonderful Valentine's Day! Everything just seemed to work out so well!
